Daily Blast Live's Tory Shulman is hitting the streets of London to find out how locals are preparing for the Royal Wedding. Prince Harry and Megan Markle will be the 16th royal couple to get married at Windsor, and in a town of only thirty thousand people, it's easy to see that they're pretty excited.
Harry and Meghan’s wedding will take place in Windsor Castle at St. George’s Chapel on Saturday, May 19th. The castle was built in the 11th century. Camera crews and scaffolding have already been set up around the perimeter and on some of the towers surrounding the main event area. St George's Chapel can accommodate 800 guests and it is expected that about 600 people will be in attendance for the ceremony. In terms of decor, florist Philippa Craddock has been chosen to provide the decorations for St George’s Chapel. Rumors say the flowers will be white garden roses, foxgloves and peonies with several types of branches.
After the ceremony, the first of several receptions will be held. Queen Elizabeth will host a daytime reception at St George’s Hall at the Castle. Following the wedding ceremony, a smaller evening dinner, hosted by Prince Charles, will take place at the nearby Frogmore House. According to the kitchen staff at Windsor, "they’ve [Harry and Meghan] tasted everything, they’ve been involved in every detail...The couple wanted us to make sure that we used all of the local, seasonal produce as much as possible throughout their menu."
